Unlike the previous plastic clad Redmi Notes, the Note 3 gets a complete metal unibody construction. Even after being fitted with a huge 4050 mAh the phone manages to maintain a slim 8.65mm profile and tips the weighing scale at 164gm which is lighter than the Note Prime. The display is a 5.5inch FullHD IPS LCD unit with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 401 PPI.
As mentioned the Redmi Note 3 is the very first phone to use the Snapdragon 650 64-bit CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz. It is a Hexa-Core processor that employs 2x ARM Cortex A72 and 4x ARM Cortex A53. The CPU is coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of dual channel RAM. The onboard memory on this variant is 32GB that can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. The phone gets a 4G hybrid dual SIM tray that can hold two micro sims or one sim and a microSD.
The camera setup includes a 16MP unit at the rear and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera gets Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and a Two-tone flash. The feature set on the Note 3 includes a fingerprint sensor that not only unlocks the phone for you but also work as a camera shutter button.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) and features MIUI 7.0 out of the box. Marshmallow and MIUI 8 Updates have been rolled out for the Redmi Note 3 by the developers.
This phone is great. Still I am facing heating problem while charging and playing games. ‘
Camera is not up to mark. The price tag of the phone is 12k and not 40k. What else do you expect from a 12k phone?
Redmi Note 3 has been an undisputed champ of its segment. The main objective of this smartphone was to get you all the premium hardware at a pocket-friendly price and it was successful in doing it.

Pros:
1. Design and construction looks and feels premium
2. Display
3. Performance of this device has been surprising. The Hexa-Core SoC can compete with many of the Octa-Core devices.
4. Battery
5. MiUI
6. Features – Quick Fingerprint sensor
——————————————–
Cons:
1. Camera Performance has been disappointing. Even with a capable 16MP sensor, the results are not up to the mark
