OPPO F1s Design

As compared to its predecessor, the Oppo F1s gets more smooth design work on its metal unibody. The geometrical corners and edges are replaced by curvilinear lines. The display has been pumped up to a 5.5 inch IPS TFT HD unit. It features a fingerprint sensor integrated on its home button. With 7.38mm thickness, the phone weighs at 160gms. In the market it is available in two colour options – Gold and Grey.

OPPO F1s Hardware

The Oppo F1s features a Mediatek MT6750 SoC inside instead of the Snapdragon 616 that was loaded in the F1. The phone employs a 1.5 GHz Octa-core CPU and a Mali-T860MP2 GPU. 3GB of RAM has been retained but the internal memory has been increased from 16GB to 32 GB. This can further be expanded to 256 GB via dedicated microSD slot. One good thing that Oppo has done with the phone is that it is rolled out with a Triple-Slot tray that can hold two 4G sims and a microSD slot at the same time.

Coming to the phone’s USP, the front is equipped with a 16MP camera. This camera is equipped with a Beautify 4.0 and a host of photo filters. It can also capture selfie panorama. On the other hand, the rear camera features a 1/3.06 inch sensor that allows the phone to maximize light sensitivity hence resulting in better performance in dim lit conditions.

OPPO F1s Software

The Oppo F1s gets Android v5.1 Lollipop OS and the ColorOS 3.0 UI. This version of the ColorOS is said to be optimized for performance, launch time and photo album boot speed.
