Asus Zenfone 3S Max Design

The whole Zenfone 3 design philosophy has really worked well for Asus. All of the company’s drab looking phones have received a complete makeover. Unlike the first gen Max, the 3S Max follows the footsteps of the 3 Max and gets an all metal unibody construction. Even with a heavy duty 5,000 mAh battery inside the phone manages to be in the slim category of device but the weight figure is significantly high. The display unit has been retained and the 3S Max gets a 5.2inch HD display that has a pixel density of 282ppi.

As compared to the 3 Max, the rear camera, flash unit, and the Fingerprint sensor of the 3S Max has been repositioned. The 3S Max features a home button with a fingerprint sensor on it.

Asus Zenfone 3S Max Hardware

Under the hood is a Mediatek MT6750 SoC coupled with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. This Octa-Core CPU is clocked at 1.5GHz and is accompanied by 3GB of RAM. The internal memory offered on the Zenfone 3S Max is of 32GB which can be expanded upto 2TB via microSD cards. The phone features a hybrid Dual SIM tray. Coming to the camera, the Zenfone 3S Max is fitted with a 13-MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, and dual-LED real-tone flash. At the front is an 8MP lens.

As mentioned earlier, the phone gets a huge 5,000 mAh battery that supports reverse charging. The reverse charging feature helps the phone to act as a power bank in order to charge other smartphones.
