Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 4 in India which is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC. The same phone is sold in China, powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 SoC. However, the Indian version is now being shipped back to the home country, and Xiaomi is calling it the Redmi Note 4X. So essentially, the Redmi Note 4X is the same phone as the Redni Note 4 that is sold in India. But on the other side of the wall, apart from colors like Champagne Gold, Matte Black, Cherry Powder and Platinum Silver/Grey, the 4X is also available in a Hatsune Miku Limited edition, reserved for sale on Valentine’s Day.
Hardware wise, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X comes with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-LED (dual-tone) flash. At the front, the Redmi Note 4X gets a 5MP lens. Wrapped in an all-metal body, the 4X’s fingerprint scanner sits on the back panel. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display which is covered under 2.5D glass and a bottom-facing mono speaker.
The Redmi Note 4X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor backed by an Adreno 506GPU. The dualSIM phone runs Android Nougat-based MIUI and supports 4G LTE. The Redmi Note 4X is powered by a 4,100mAh battery. Xiaomi is yet to announce pricing and variant breakdown for the Redmi Note 4X.
