Launched last week, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus has gone on sale in India. To be a Flipkart exclusive product, the phone has been priced at Rs. 11,999. The A2 Plus’ USP is its massive 5000mAh battery which also supports fast charging and promises up to 22 hours of talk time. The phone will be available in shades of Gold and Grey.
Wrapped in a metal unibody design, the ZTE Blade A2 Plus weighs 189 gms and measures 155 x 76.2 x 9.8mm. The phone features a 404 ppi, 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and a Mali T860 GPU. It comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 32GB (expandable till 128 GB via a microSD card). Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, VOLTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
Supporting a hybrid dual-SIM combo, the phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, with Mi-Favor, ZTE’s own custom UI, running on top. It gets a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash and 1080p video support, while the front is an 8MP lens. The fingerprint sensor sits on the back panel.
