Moto G5 Plus Design

The design of the G5 Plus is similar to that of the G5 but this time both the phones are not of the same dimensions. As mentioned earlier, Moto will make sure that both the phones are well differentiated from each other. While the standard G5 will be a 5incher, the G5 Plus is fitted with a 5.2 inch screen. Alike the G4 Plus, the G5 Plus also features a front mounted fingerprint sensor. It is said to be one of the first new Moto G phones made from high-grade aluminium.

Moto G5 Plus Hardware

The upcoming Moto G5 Plus comes loaded with Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz.  This octa-core CPU will be supported by Adreno 506 GPU. The G5 Plus is offered with 2GB as well as 4GB RAM. Also, these variants are rolled out with internal storage capacities of 16GB and 32GB respectively. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. Coming to the camera, the G5 Plus gets a bumped up, 12MP, main camera which may look like missing out on the MP count but has more tech to it that makes it faster and better than the unit on the G4 Plus. On the front will likely be an 8MP selfie camera.

The battery capacity of the G5 Plus is of 3,000 mAh that supports Moto’s TurboPower. This tech can pump in up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.

Moto G5 Plus Software

Moto G5 Plus rolls out with a stock version of Android OS v7.0 Nougat.
